Condemnation Statement by Chairman, Sufi Council, Peer Syed Mudassir Shah
Date: March 13, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and profound grief that I, on behalf of the Sufi Council, condemn the tragic terrorist attack and hijacking of the Jaffar Express train in Bolan, Balochistan. The loss of innocent lives in this horrific act of violence is beyond words, and our hearts go out to the families of those who have lost their loved ones.
Terrorism, in any form, is a ruthless crime against humanity and violates the very essence of peace, tolerance, and harmony. The Sufi Council stands unwavering in its stance against all forms of terrorism, extremism, and violence. We reject these brutal acts that seek to destabilize our nation and harm the innocent.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time. We mourn with them and pledge to continue working towards a world where peace, unity, and love prevail over hatred and violence.
It is imperative that Pakistan takes a firm, resolute stand against terrorism. We must eliminate this menace with an iron fist, ensuring that justice prevails, and those responsible for such heinous acts are held accountable. The strength and unity of our nation lie in our commitment to eradicate terrorism and create a safe, peaceful environment for all citizens.
The Sufi Council calls upon the government, law enforcement agencies, and all stakeholders to take immediate and decisive actions in order to protect the lives of innocent people and uphold the integrity of our beloved nation.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may their families find solace in this time of immense grief.
